Tough Competition

In January of 1953 - The Hall of Fame passes over Joe DiMaggio in his first year of eligibility and elects pitcher Dizzy Dean and outfielder Al Simmons to Cooperstown. Simmons drove in 100 runs in each of his first eleven major league seasons. Dean had a .644 career winning percentage and won 30 games in 1934. -Gordon Davis

Oswalt To ? ? ?

Roy Oswalt is on the verge of becoming a member of the St Louis Cardinals, pending a physical.Looks like Milwaukee has decided that winning is not that important.
