Western Nevada College, recently ranked No. 5 in Baseball America's junior college poll, will open its 2011 baseball season today with a game against South Mountain College at UNLV. The first pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
Right-hander Tim Peterson (4-2 in 2010) will take the mound for WNC. Today's game is the first of a four-game series.
WNC has 56 games on its 2011 schedule.

Deja vu.Its not Beantown,but it may feel like it in 2011 down in Tampa Bay.Dont expect much more than an "injury" plagued season from Manny and Damon should be yelling for a trade by Flag Day.Just my prediction.
